David Moyes says it is ‘touch and go’ whether Kevin Mirallas will be fit enough to face Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane this Sunday.

Mirallas scored the only goal in last weekend’s victory over Stoke, but is a doubt for the Spurs clash after being forced off the pitch with a groin injury 10 minutes before the end.

The Everton boss may now face a dilemma as of how to approach the game, as his attacking options may be limited further if the Belgian cannot shake off his injury.

”He’s [Mirallas] been suffering from a groin strain and he is going to be touch and go,” said Moyes at his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, according to Everton offical website.

”We are hoping that he will make it but it is by no means definite."

The Toffees will also be without key duo Marouane Fellaini and Steven Pienaar, who are both suspended, and therefore Moyes knows that Sunday’s game is going to be difficult.

He added: "Unfortunately we don't have Marouane Fellaini and Steven Pienaar and that would be a blow to anybody's team.

"We found a way of getting a result against Stoke City and it's a bit the same against Tottenham - we're going to have to find a way to get a result without two really key players."

However, Everton do also have a reason to be optimistic heading into the game at White Hart Lane, as the north London club have injury worries of their own after star man Gareth Bale was stretchered off with an ankle problem in the final stages of Tottenham’s 2-2 draw with FC Basel on Thursday evening, meaning he will not feature Sunday.
