Manchester United and Chelsea target Sergio Ramos has hinted at a move to England in the summer by taking up English lessons.

According to the Daily Express, reports in Italy claim Ramos has hired a tutor to teach him English and that Chelsea are one of the teams interested in the defender.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has also been credited with an interest in Ramos in the past, so he may take an interest in any move to the Premier League.

Ramos is not the only Real Madrid man being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, manager Jose Mourinho has been tipped with a return to Chelsea.

The Spain international is an important player under Mourinho at Santiago Bernabeu, which may be why there is a link between the Blues.

Manchester United’s interest could be connected with concerns over the long-term futures of both Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand.

The latter is coming into the final stages of his career, while the former has had a number of injury troubles in recent season.

Ferguson may feel he needs to look to the future for the centre of defence and bring in some experience to help along the inexperienced alternative in his squad.
