Paris Saint-Germain have not made offers for Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo or Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, according to the French club's director of football, Leonardo.

Ronaldo and Rooney have both been linked with transfers to Paris this summer as the Ligue 1 leaders look to demonstrate their sizeable financial clout and establish themselves among Europe's elite.

PSG have also been credited with interest in Edinson Cavani of Napoli, but Leonardo denies there has ever been an approach for either of the three strikers apparently on their radar.

Leonardo was responding to claims from Michel Moulin, a former PSG advisor, who suggests the club have already agreed to sign Rooney from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Ronaldo, meanwhile, has been linked with PSG all season amid reports of a contract wrangle with Real Madrid,
