Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky, Leigton Baines, Marouane Fellaini and Steven Pienaar are the players tipped to make a difference in the all important clash at the Emirates tonight.

Both sides will fight tooth and nail for victory in north London tonight as the outcome will have a big impact on both clubs’ hopes of Champions League football.

Arsenal could cement their place in the top four if they win tonight, making it difficult for Tottenham Hotspur in the run-in, while Everton could climb within reach of the tightly contested top four spots and keep their hopes of European football alive.

After Arsenal’s match against Norwich at the weekend, Arsene Wenger could make a few amendments to the team he fielded on Saturday. Gervinho looked to be back to his old indecisive and unreliable self on Saturday and despite his good run of form before the Norwich game, the Ivorian might be replaced by Theo Walcott.

Walcott has enjoyed an incredible season, scoring 18 goals for the club as well as providing numerous assists. Although he has suffered a dip in form in the last two months or so, the Englishman showed again on Saturday why he deserves a starting berth. His explosive speed and telling passes as well as his ability to finish cleanly makes him a threat to any opposition and he made an instant impact to the game against Norwich.

Then, it goes without saying that Santi Cazorla has the ability to be a game changer regardless of circumstance or opposition. The Spaniard’s creativity, pass execution and shot-taking ability make him a danger to Everton. The little playmaker has scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in the league this season.

Tomas Rosicky is said to be replacing Jack Wilshere in the starting line-up tonight. He showed against West Brom just why he Arsene Wenger holds him in such high regard.

The midfielder can change the pace of the game in seconds with a telling pass or darting run and he can score goals as he showed in his man-of-the-match performance two weeks ago.

Marouane Fellaini is considered one of Europe’s best. His capacity to find the goal and to provide a clean finish under pressure has attracted interest from top clubs across Europe. He is an aerial threat second to none and controls the ball well on deck as well. The Belgian has 11 goals and five assists under his belt this season.

Steven Pienaar has been exceptional this season. The South African’s talent to read a game and pick out weaknesses in defences will have Arsenal worried. The 31-year-old has scored five goals and provided as many assists this season.

Then, although a left back, probably Arsenal’s biggest threat will come in the form of Leighton Baines tonight. The defender has been incredible this season and is largely creditable for Everton’s successes this season. Although the Englishman has scored five times in the Premier League as well as giving five assists, his most impressive statistic is perhaps the fact that he has created 102 chances that directly led to goal scoring opportunities. That’s 24 more than Santi Cazorla; in fact it’s more than any other player in the league.

With these talents on display, the Emirates is set to host an incredibly exciting and competitive game tonight sure to keep fans on their edge of their seats.
