Manchester United can seal their 20th title win with a victory over Aston Villa at Old Trafford tonight.

The opportunity arose after United's closest rivals and neighbours Manchester City lost to 3-1 to Tottenham on Sunday, ending any hopes of overhauling the Red Devils like they did last season.

The Old Trafford outfit will be eager to seal the title on their home ground this evening and delight their supporters with what is sure to be another momentous occasion for the club.

If United do wrap up the title against Aston Villa then they will owe a lot to their incredible strike force of Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck.

Players such as Michael Carrick, David de Gea, Rio Ferdinand and Rafael da Silva have also been impressive for Ferguson's side this season and deserve as much credit as United's fearsome strikers.

United are also in with a chance of breaking the record of the highest number of points in a 38 game season if they win all of their remaining games.

This would overhaul Chelsea’s previous record of 95 points. And with the Red Devils facing both Arsenal and Chelsea in the final stages of the season, Ferguson's side will still have a say in the race for Champions League qualification.

The battle for the European positions will keep Premier League exciting as the season comes to a close, even if the title race will be over before May. Some change from last season!
