Arsenal are known for being able to blood youngsters from their youth set-up and turn them into world-class footballers.

Now it is clear that The Gunners will make signings every season and bring in new players from outside of the club, but if Arsenal decided not to make any further additions in the next five years, what could their squad look like?

Out of the current crop of under-21 and academy players, who could make their way into the starting line-up in future years?

There are several youngsters in the first-team at the moment, with the likes of Carl Jenkinson, Jack Wilshere and Wojciech Szczesny all establishing themselves as regulars. They will still make this team as they will be featuring for Arsenal for years to come.

So what could the future Arsenal line-up? Take a look below!

Goalkeeper | Wojciech Szczesny

At just the age of 23, the Polish shot-stopper has already established himself as the number-one at Arsenal and has already made 103 first-team appearances. As goalkeepers tend to last until their late-30s, Szczesny could be the number one for years to come at the Emirates Stadium.

Right back | Carl Jenkinson

The 21-year-old has been very impressive for Arsenal since joining from Charlton and he may be the right back for many years to come. Making 30 starts already for Arsenal, Jenkinson is well on his way to developing into a class defender. Current right-back Bacary Sagna has already revealed that he feels Jenkinson could become a world-class defender in years to come.

Centre back | Ignasi Miquel

The 20-year-old centre back has been around Arsenal for a few years now and hasn't quite been able to break into the first-team, but is called-upon ahead of Sebastian Squillaci if injuries have hit the Arsenal's defenders. Miquel has made nine first-team appearances and could be a strong presence in the years ahead.

Centre back | Sead Hajrovic

The 19-year-old Swiss defender has been very impressive for the under-21 side at right-back, but the defender is also very comfortable at playing centre-back and he could be the partner for Miquel in future years. The defender isn't quite as established as Miquel just yet and has spent the last few seasons out on loan, but in years to come he could develop into a strong centre-back for the Gunners.

Left back | Hector Bellerin

Despite this 18-year-old being a right back, in years to come he may develop into being a versatile defender which could see him play all across the back-four. Bellerin was signed from Barcelona's youth set-up and he is being prepared for a move up to the first-team as soon as next season. Despite not making a first-team appearance as of yet, Arsene Wenger is keen to bring him forward and put him in the first-team set up.

Centre midfield | Jack Wilshere (C)

Sure to be the Arsenal captain within the next three years. The 21-year-old is already a fan favourite at the club and is one of the best players Arsenal have on their books. Despite having injury problems recently, Wilshere looks like he can recover from the setbacks and since his return he looks better than ever. He will be the captain and will be at the heart of the midfield for years to come.

Centre midfield | Thomas Eisfeld

The 20-year-old German was signed from Borussia Dortmund and has been very impressive in the under-21 side for Arsenal and the majority of the fans are already calling for him to be given a shot in the first-team. An attacking-minded midfielder scored six and assisted six in 12 appearances for the under-19s and could be a big part of Arsenal's future.

Centre midfield | Jon Toral

The 18-year-old midfielder who was signed from Barcelona is also being fast-tracked into the first-team with the likes of Hector Bellerin as Arsene Wenger is ready to give him first-team opportunities. Unfortunately suffered an injury that cut his season short, but previous to the injury, he put in some impressive performances and could be breaking his way into the first-team in the near future.

Right winger | Serge Gnabry

The 17-year-old winger has been superb for the reserves this season and has even made a substitute appearance for the first-team. The German winger is highly-rated by the youth coaches and many believe he will be in the first-team in the near future. Pacey, strong and a neat finisher; we could see Gnabry develop into a world-class winger.

Left winger | Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

The 19-year-old is on the fringes of the first-team already and is mainly used as a substitute, but he is destined for the first-team within the next two seasons. The strong and fast winger is a real handful for defenders and has been very impressive since joining from Southampton. The fans love him and he has already made 32 starts for the first-team in all competitions.

Striker | Chuba Akpom

The 18-year-old can play anywhere across the front-line, so may make appearances down the wing as well, but he is impressing many in the reserves and can't seem to stop scoring.

He made his under-18 debut when he was just 15 and could be the next big striker at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal will make transfers and will bring in new players in years to come, but if Arsene Wenger has the chance he will always champion the development of talent as opposed to buying readymade stars. Expect to see at least a few of these players in the Arsenal starting line-up soon.

Comment below if you have anyone else in mind who has a big future.
