Tennis legend Boris Becker has backed his countrymen to get a result tonight as Bayern Munich take on Barcelona for a place in the UEFA Champions League final.

Bayern go into the second leg of the semi-final tie with a 4-0 advantage after a storming performance at the Allianz Arena last week, with two goals from Thomas Müller and one each from Arjen Robben and Mario Gomez putting the newly-crowned Bundesliga champions in control.

Despite their comfortable advantage, Jupp Henyckes' side must be wary of Barcelona, who staged a storming comeback from 2-0 down to knock out AC Milan in the last-16 of the competition at the Camp Nou earlier this season.

However history is on Bayern's side - Barcelona have never scored four or more goals in a Champions League semi-final, and no team has ever fought back from four goals down in a Champions League knockout game.

Becker, who serves on Bayern's advisory board, believes his team will have to show some resolve if they are to see off a fired-up Barcelona led by the great Lionel Messi, but is backing them to set-up an all-German final against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley on May 25.

"I think the match tonight will be different [from the first leg]," he told GiveMeFootball.com for his official Facebook page. "Barcelona will be on top of their game, I expect a great [performance from] Messi.

"But then Bayern are having the run of their life at the moment so I hope for a draw. A 2-2 would be just fine, and Bayern are going to go to the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on May 25 at Wembley!"

Bayern take on Barcelona at the Camp Nou tonight at 19:45 BST, and will have the chance to avenge their defeat at the hands of Chelsea - Becker's other team - in last year's final if they make it through.
