Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City target Viktor Fischer has dismissed talk of him leaving Ajax for any of the three Premier League clubs.

The Denmark striker is very highly rated and a successful first season in the Amsterdam club’s first team has led to him being linked with bids out of Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge and Etihad Stadium.

Manchester United’s interest in the 18-year-old striker may change after Sir Alex Ferguson this week revealed he would be retiring at the end of the season.

However, Fischer is seen as one of the most promising young players in Europe and Ferguson will still have a prominent role at the club, so Manchester United may yet make a move.

Chelsea have limited striking options with both Fernando Torres and Demba Ba failing to fire and, while they are being linked with big-money moves for top European strikers, the Blues would see Fischer as a perfect long-term option.

Roman Abramovich has sanctioned substantial spending on young talent in the likes of Oscar, Juan Mata and Eden Hazard, so a move for Fischer would make sense.

It appears as though the machinations of Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea will amount to nothing, as Fischer believes he still has a lot to learn and believes he needs to learn at Ajax.

"I have a lot to learn in Amsterdam. I think I'm a wise guy. Only when you're 25 do you show how good you really are,” he told Voetbal international.

"I have accomplished nothing here. It would be arrogant if I thought I was done here."
